Create your account
To participate in an auction via our website or app, you must first create an account on our auction platform. Registration requires that you, as a customer, register a debit/credit card to become a customer. This is to prevent “ghost bids” and to ensure a correct bid process. This card does not have to be the final payment method.

Register for the auction

For a live auction, simply choose the auction you want and click “Register to bid” before the auction starts to receive your bid number.

Make your bids

Bidding in the room: Pick up your bid plate at the registration office and give it to the auctioneer when you bid.

Online bids, in advance and live: Once the auction is published on our website, you can bid on the items. When the auction starts, you can bid live via the same website. Both options are also available via our app.

Bid via prior written bids: You can send us your maximum bids by email, which we will then monitor for you during the auction. Submitting a maximum bid does not mean that you will ultimately pay that amount; the final amount will be the second highest bid received plus a step in the bid.

Third-party bidding: You can submit your bids via portals such as Numisbids, Sixbid, etc. if you prefer. These bids are treated just like prior written bids.

Bidding by phone: Choose your items in advance and let us know which ones, one of our representatives will call you during the auction to bid on your behalf.

Buda via tredjepartsauktionsplattformar: You can use the Numisbids, Sixbid etc. portal to get you started. This is exactly what happened to the skiftliga förhandsbud.

Telefonbus: Välj dina objekt i förväg och meddela oss vilka det är, och en av våra representanter kommer att ringa dig under auktionen för att bjuda å dina vägnar.

FAQs

How do I sell my collection?
At Schulman, we offer various solutions to sell your collection. In addition to sales through our auctions, we can also offer direct sales. We then make an offer based on current market prices and pay immediately.
Why do I need to register a credit card when I sign up for online bidding?
Safety and fair auctions are the top priority at Schulman. That's why we require credit card authentication upon registration to participate in live bids. This prevents identity fraud and so-called “ghost bids”. The credit card you register does not have to be used for payment, it can be made by invoice.
Does Schulman also sell banknotes?
Yes, of course. Every year, we organize at least one auction that is entirely dedicated to banknotes.
Why do you ask for a credit card when you register for online bidding?
To ensure the reliability of our auctions, we require credit card verification upon registration. This helps prevent identity fraud and unwanted bidding behavior. The credit card provided is used for verification purposes only.
Does Schulman also auction banknotes?
Yes. Schulman b.v. regularly organises specialized auctions with a strong emphasis on paper money. These auctions are announced well in advance and attract interested parties from home and abroad.
