Value of Juliana coins

The value of Juliana coins is determined by a combination of factors. For example, the silver content plays a major role, especially among guilders and national thalers that were minted from silver between 1948 and 1967. Rarity also makes a difference: commemorative coins or small-edition issues are often more popular among collectors. Furthermore, quality counts, because a coin in an uncirculated state pays more than a worn one. Ultimately, it is the question among collectors that determines how much your Juliana coins are really worth.

Sell Juliana coins through our auctions

A fair value estimation is related to several factors:
Condition: the higher the quality (e.g. UNC or FDC), the greater the aggregate value.
Rarity and year: scarce years or variants attract more interest.
Material: silver years also represent silver value.
Proof and origin: limited editions or well-documented origins increase the appeal.

Our specialists will carefully value your Juliana coins and advise you on the best sales route. Where relevant, we supervise NGC or PCGS grading to objectively substantiate quality and authenticity. This increases trust among international buyers.

How do I sell my collection?
At Schulman, we offer various solutions to sell your collection. In addition to sales through our auctions, we can also offer direct sales. We then make an offer based on current market prices and pay immediately.
Why do I need to register a credit card when I sign up for online bidding?
Safety and fair auctions are the top priority at Schulman. That's why we require credit card authentication upon registration to participate in live bids. This prevents identity fraud and so-called “ghost bids”. The credit card you register does not have to be used for payment, it can be made by invoice.
Does Schulman also sell banknotes?
Yes, of course. Every year, we organize at least one auction that is entirely dedicated to banknotes.
Why do you ask for a credit card when you register for online bidding?
To ensure the reliability of our auctions, we require credit card verification upon registration. This helps prevent identity fraud and unwanted bidding behavior. The credit card provided is used for verification purposes only.
